Who knew wilderness could be so indulgent! Fluffy down comforters on the queen beds and plush towels to dry you after a hot shower help make the Guesthouse a surprisingly luxurious retreat. The Inian Islands are located north of Chichagof Island and south of the mainland. The Hobbit Hole is found on the southwest side of the largest of the Inians. Once inside the narrow gut that opens out into the Hobbit Hole, you’ll see the buildings which make up the tiny Hobbit community. The leftmost building is the guesthouse. This cabin was originally built as a ceramics studio. It sleeps 8 in beds and on a comfy futon in the living room. There is a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom, and a queen bed with a set of bunk beds in the loft. A full bath adjoins the downstairs bedroom. An efficient and aesthetic oil stove provide heat. The kitchen corner is fully equipped and stocked with staples. A large deck is accessible from the cabin’s back door.
